New 4 star hotel in Sapa launched
On
the morning 2nd August 2014, the National Oil Corporation of
Vietnam and Lao Cai provincial People's Committee held and
inauguration of the new 4 star hotel named U Sapa, located in
the center of
Sapa town.
U Sa Pa Hotel is built on the "golden land", Cau May Street No.
8, one of the ancient streets of Sapa.
The hotel is invested and managed by Sapa Petroleum Tourism
Corporation. The hotels has nearly 60 rooms of 4 star standard
in addition to functional chambers such as reading, sports,
entertainment...on a total area of more than 4000 square metres,
total investment of over 100 billion Vietnam Dong.
This is the second 4 star hotel in Sapa, beside the famous
Victoria resort, it was built combining ancient western
architecture with high aesthetic in harmony with nature and
indigenous cultures.
Reportedly, after the opening of U Sapa hotel, Sapa Petroleum
Tourism Corporation will build Sapa Garden hotel at the address
23 Cau May street in Sapa town with 4 star standard, thus
establish business string of high-quality tourism in Sapa.
Famous as one of the most
favourite destinations in Vietnam,
Sapa has attracted tens of thousands of visitors in the country
and abroad each year. Sapa is characteristic with original hill
tribal culture, the colorful weekend markets, rice terraces,
cool climate and beautiful scenery. Tourists
visit Sapa usually
stay at hotels in Sapa and take day trips to surrounding
villages, active travellers prefer
trekking tours to Sapa
villages and even to
Fanxipan mountain, nicknamed as "The roof
of Indochina".
There are many hotels in the small town Sapa, ranging from
budget class to luxury. Victoria hotel used to be the only
choice for high end visitors, today there are several hotels of
4 star level, providing accommodation for domestic and
international visitors.
